Congratulations are in order to the Kelley School students involved in the JagStart Student Idea Pitch Competition held on IUPUI's campus Friday afternoon.
More than a dozen students gave three minute elevator pitches for a new product or venture in front of judges and a live audience.
Three current Kelley School students and a pre-business student were chosen to compete as finalists in the competition.
Kristina Tinsley, BS'21, took home second place in the competition, with her idea called "Coining Forces: Serving Together." Tinsley's idea is for an app that would help serve military families.
Monica Kinsey, BS'18, took home third place for her venture entitled "Waste, Erased," which is an idea for a zero waste grocery store in Indianapolis.
