Gordon McCurdy

Gordon McCurdy joins the faculty as a visiting lecturer. He received his MBA in marketing and strategic planning from Yale University, his Master of Philosophy in social anthropology from University of Cambridge and his Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

McCurdy most recently served as the director for Kelley’s Evening MBA Program in Indianapolis. He previously worked as director of MBA programs at University of Nevada Las Vegas, founder and president of Get Smart! Program and Nextgen Strategies, director of marketing at Gilbert and Gennett, director of marketing at Amtrol and vice president of marketing at Earthgro.

“I look forward to teaching my first face-to-face class at Kelley,” said McCurdy. “After working as a director or VP of marketing and strategic planning at three companies and then running a boutique strategy consulting firm for 12 years, I am excited about the opportunity to engage one-on-one with Kelley students. I hope to teach them more about the discipline that I have found so satisfying.”

“Additionally, I am deeply excited about teaching strategy through the case method. I look forward to partnering with Kelley students to solve real-world problems together!”

McCurdy will teach primarily in the Undergraduate Program and will contribute to Kelley’s efforts to build graduate program opportunities in strategy and marketing.
