IU IoT Energy Efficiency Lab

IU IoT Energy Efficiency Lab

Governor Eric Holcomb and Senator Todd Young were at the Indiana IoT lab in Fishers this summer to promote the bipartisan Endless Frontier Act.

Indiana University had a front row seat -- Professor Amrou Awaysheh's IoT Energy Efficiency Lab was in the background!

The IU IoT Energy Efficiency Lab, housed within the Indiana IoT Lab, works with large manufacturing facilities to consider the amount of energy they use on daily basis – and how that energy can be conserved.

Awaysheh develops the parts and components to make small smart meters to place in facilities to collect data on energy consumption. You can read more about the IoT Energy Efficiency Lab here.

Awaysheh is the founder and executive director of the Business Sustainability and Innovation Lab at IU and an assistant professor of operations management at the IU Kelley School of Business at IUPUI.
