Katie: Planning successful events

Katie: I have a degree in Recreational Therapy and have worked in various fields over the years.

Katie: Camp counselor

Q: What is your favorite food?

Katie: French fries

Q: A surprising fact about you?

Katie: I’m vegan.

Q: How do you contribute to the Kelley mission?

Katie: My contribution to the Kelley mission is in the connections that I help make possible between employers and students.

Q: How do you spend your time outside of Kelley?

Katie: I enjoy practicing yoga, reading, cycling, traveling, and watching baseball, to name a few.

Q: What advice do you have for students?

Katie: The days are long, but the years are short.

Q: Where is your favorite place to travel?

Katie: So far Grenoble, France, is the most interesting place I’ve been. Even though it is a relatively small city, the public transportation system there is amazing! It’s at the foot of the French Alps, so the views are impressive, too.

Q: If you'd like, tell us about your family.

Katie: My husband Curtis and I have a cat named Ernie (after Ernie Banks, former Cubs player). We’re also expecting our first child in October!
